LONG HIRE DISCOUNTS ARE AVAILABLE.

Payment

Credit cards accepted. No surcharges. A deposit of £200 per week is required to secure all bookings. The balance including a refundable £750 damage deposit is payable 4 weeks prior to the start of the hire period. All prices are fully inclusive of VAT.

Insurance

Fully comprehensive insurance is not included in the tariff for the vehicle. It is an additional charge of between £10-15 per day and is based on the nationality of the licence and the age and type of endorsements on UK licences. Driving by non-named drivers and any late return of the motorhome renders the insurance invalid and the driver thereby commits an offence under the Road Traffic Act. Invalid insurance also means the driver and main hirer becomes personally liable for any accident damage to the motorhome, for any damaged third party property and for any third party personal injuries. Drivers with an accident and /or conviction record may be required to pay an insurance surcharge. All previous motoring offences up to nine years old are to be disclosed to Carefree Motorhomes upon booking. Proof of identity of all insured drivers must be produced upon collection. The number of permitted passengers is shown in the vehicle specification.

Damage to tyres, windows and windscreens is not covered by our insurance and any such damage shall be charged against the damage deposit, other exclusions also apply. An insurance excess of £750 will be charged to the hirer and applied against each incident which warrants an insurance claim. An accident or any damage to the motorhome must be reported immediately to us by telephone and an accident form must be completed at the end of the hire period. We do not provide collision damage waiver insurance.
Insurance cover is for the vehicle, its equipment, the named driver and permitted passengers only. Your personal property is not covered and hirers are advised to take out additional personal holiday insurance.

If the vehicle is involved in an incident no matter how small the incident must be reported to Carefree Motorhomes within 24 hours.

Airport transfers Using one way Hertz car hire from all major airports including Heathrow, Gatwick or Stansted approx £95.
Rail collection free transfer to and from Newark Northgate station.

Free Parking

Free on site parking at the owners risk is available for the duration of the hire period.

European Travel

Travel to European Union countries is permitted provided green card insurance for each driver and AA 5 star breakdown cover has been obtained. The cost varies and is dependant on the number in the party and the countries to be visited. The normal cost is £12 per day.

Warning triangles, a spare bulbs kit, headlamp deflectors and flourescent safety vests are mandatory and supplied free of charge.
